Portland Oregon

I had the privilege of going to visit some friends and family in Portland this past fall with my friend Anna. It was my first time visiting the West Coast, and I was excited to catch up with some friends, meet my new nephew, and do some exploring. As a busy mom it always seems like it takes so much planning and energy to make sure things run smoothly when you take off for a bit, but the rest and relaxation that comes from a short break from everyday routines and responsibility, always seems so worth it. Of course having a supportive husband willing to step up and recognizes breaks are needed helps too (Thank you Travis). This past fall had been a bit extra busy and stressful and I felt like I had missed out on Fall, like I had forgotten to be present and really notice the beauty of it. When I arrived in Portland and realized that their fall was weeks behind, I was so happy to have a second chance to enjoy my favorite season. Here are a few of my favorites from my trip.
